Russians attack Dnipropetrovsk region with artillery, drones, civilians injured
Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
According to the update, women aged 86, 76, 71, and 62 were injured in attacks on Nikopol district. All of them received medical treatment and will continue recovery on an outpatient basis.
Lysak noted that throughout the day Russian forces shelled the district with artillery and used drones. The towns of Nikopol, Pokrovske, and Chervonohryhorivka came under fire. An enterprise was damaged, along with three private houses, an apartment building, and a non-operational facility. Vehicles were hit, and a power line was also damaged.
In Pokrovske community, Synelnykove district, an 88-year-old man was injured by a drone strike. Three private homes and an outbuilding caught fire, while a truck and a gas station were also damaged. Fires broke out as well in Sloviansk community.
As reported, Ukraine’s Defense Forces destroyed six Russian drones over Dnipropetrovsk region the previous day.
