Russian troops shell Donetsk region nearly 1,700 times in 24 hours

Russian troops fired on the frontline and residential areas of five settlements in the Donetsk region 1,699 times in the past 24 hours.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Donetsk region.

“On September 25, the police recorded 1,699 Russian shellings along the frontline and residential areas. Five settlements were under fire: the cities of Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Lyman, Rodynske, and the village of Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka,” the report said.

According to the police, 32 residential buildings were damaged.

It is noted that the Russian military dropped a KAB-250 bomb on Druzhkivka, damaging 30 private homes. In Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, a private house was damaged by two FPV drones.

In Rodynske, an apartment building was destroyed by enemy shelling.

In addition, at 2:47 a.m. today, the invaders struck Sloviansk. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or damage to the residential sector.

As reported by Ukrinform, on September 24, Russian troops killed five residents of the Donetsk region.
