Russians shell Kherson with artillery, woman killed

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

“According to the investigation, on the morning of September 26, 2025, Russian troops carried out an artillery attack on Kherson,” the statement said.

It is noted that a woman who was on the street was killed as a result of the attack.

An apartment building and cars were damaged.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime that resulted in the death of a person.

The Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported on Telegram that Russian troops had been intensively shelling Kherson since the morning. He urged residents to stay in safe places and not to go outside on September 26 unless necessary.

According to Ukrinform, a minibus was shelled by enemy artillery in the center of Kherson in the morning, resulting in casualties.

In addition, the morning air strike on Kherson damaged 70 private houses and one apartment building.
