One killed, three injured as Russian forces launch 582 attacks on Zaporizhzhia region over past day

Over the past day, occupying Russian forces carried out 582 strikes across 12 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. One person was killed and two others injured as a result of attacks on the Vasylivka and Polohy districts.

The news was shared on Telegram by Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, as reported by Ukrinform.

According to Fedorov, Russian troops launched one airstrike on Huliaipole. A total of 393 drones of various types—mostly FPV models—targeted Bilenke, Chervonodniprovka, Plavni, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Verbove, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, and Shcherbaky. Two MLRS strikes were reported in Novoandriivka and Poltavka. Additionally, 186 artillery attacks hit Chervonodniprovka, Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne.

Authorities received 35 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities.

As earlier reported, Russian aircraft struck Zaporizhzhia the previous day, sparking a fire in one of the city’s districts.
