Two civilians killed in Russian attacks on Kherson region
The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported the attacks on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"At around 15:00 on September 15, Russian troops shelled the village of Mykilske in the Kherson region with artillery. A 73-year-old man, who was in his yard at the time of the attack, sustained fatal injuries," the statement said.
The prosecutor's office added that at approximately 15:40 in Bilozerka, Russian forces dropped explosives on a civilian car, killing the man inside.
The Oleshky District Prosecutor's Office has launched a pre-trial investigation into a war crime resulting in death (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Prosecutors, together with investigators, continue documenting war crimes committed by Russian forces.
