Russian strikes on Kherson region leave two dead, nine wounded

Russian forces struck 35 settlements across the Kherson region over the past day using drones and artillery, killing two people and wounding nine.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

The settlements hit included Stanislav, Bilozerka, Beryslav, Kozatske, Novoraisk, Kostyrka, Oleksandrivka, Zymivnyk, Ukrainka, Zolota Balka, Olhivka, Tiahynka, Odradokamianka, Mykolaivka, Lvove, Burhunka, Virivka, Shyroka Balka, Chervonyi Maiak, Rakivka, Poniativka, Mykilske, Antonivka, Sofiivka, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Prydniprovske, Yantarne, Rozlyv, Romashkove, Naddniprianske, Shevchenkivka, Vysoke, Tomyna Balka and Kherson.

The occupiers struck critical and social infrastructure as well as residential neighborhoods. Damage included one apartment building and seven private houses. A "point of invincibility," an outbuilding, a private garage and several vehicles were also damaged.

At about 23:00 on Thursday, August 28, Russian forces shelled the Dniprovskiy district of Kherson, wounding three people.
