Enemy concentrates most attacks on two sectors; 11 combat clashes ongoing in Lyman sector

Since the beginning of the day, there have been 76 combat engagements between the Defense Forces of Ukraine and Russian troops, more than half of them in the Pokrovsk and Lyman sectors.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

Settlements of Novovasylivka, Budivelne, and Bila Bereza were subjected to artillery shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation, while the settlement of Zarichchia in the Sumy region came under airstrikes.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian soldiers repelled four Russian attacks. The enemy also carried out 11 airstrikes, using 20 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 134 shellings, including four with multiple launch rocket systems.

Ukrainian troops repelled three attacks in the areas of Hlyboke and Kolodiazne in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces attempted to advance five times in the Kupiansk area, with three combat engagements ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, Russian troops attacked 12 times in the areas of Novomykhailivka, Novyi Myr, Zelena Dolyna, Kolodiazi, Torske, Serebrianka, and toward Yampil, Zakitne, Dronivka, and Shandryholove, with 11 combat engagements ongoing.

In the Siversk sector, the Defense Forces repelled one enemy attempt to advance near Fedorivka.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions four times in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Toretsk, and Poltavka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 28 times in the areas of Volodymyrivka, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Sukhetske, Lysivka, Udachne, Molodetske, Novoukrainka, and toward the settlements of Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Promin, Balahan, Novopavlivka, Chervonyi Lyman, and Pokrovsk. One combat engagement is ongoing.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled attacks by Russian forces in the areas of Filiia, Ivanivka, Voskresenka, and toward the settlement of Sichneve. Four out of eight enemy offensive actions were repelled, while four combat engagements are ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovske sectors, there have been no combat engagements since the beginning of the day.

The enemy carried out airstrikes on the settlements of Bilohiria and Mykolaivka.

As reported by Ukrinform, the spokesperson of the Dnipro Operational-Strategic Group of Troops, Viktor Trehubov, stated that in the Lyman sector, Russian troops partially pushed the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Serebrianka Woodland.
