Russian army loses 840 more invaders and 23 artillery systems

The total combat losses of Russian troops since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to August 23, 2025, amount to about 1,075,160 servicemen, of whom 840 were killed yesterday.
The data is provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
Also, the Russian army lost 11,129 (+5) tanks, armored combat vehicles – 23,164 (+4), artillery systems – 31,858 (+23), MLRS – 1,472 (+0), air defense equipment – 1,210 (+0), aircraft – 422 (+0), helicopters – 340 (+0), tactical UAVs – 52935 (+148), cruise missiles – 3598 (+0), ships/boats – 28 (+0), submarines – 1 (+0), automotive equipment and tankers – 59512 (+86), special equipment – 3944 (+0).
The data is being clarified.
As reported by Ukrinform, on August 22, as of 10:00 p.m., there were 107 combat clashes at the front.
