Injury toll rises to 31 in Kyiv following Russian air attack, six killed

The number of those injured in Kyiv from the Russian missile and drone strike has risen to 31, with six confirmed dead.

Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, shared the update via Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.

“As of 11:00, the number of those injured in Kyiv has increased to 31 people. The search and rescue operation continues,” he stated.

Tkachenko added that three individuals may still be trapped under rubble in the Shevchenkivskyi district, where one of the strikes occurred.

As previously reported, Russian forces launched 368 airborne targets against Ukraine during the night of June 23, with Kyiv being the primary focus of the attack. Initial reports confirmed six fatalities and 25 injuries, including four children.
