Two more bodies found at Russian-struck industrial site in Kharkiv

The agency said in a post on Telegram that the site had been severely damaged during a massive Russian attack on June 7, Ukrinform reports.

Rescue officials reported at 09:30 that the fourth victim's body had been located under the rubble at the facility in Kharkiv's Kyivskyi district. Efforts to extract the body were underway, and search operations continued.

Roughly thirty minutes later, the SES announced the discovery of a fifth body.

Meanwhile, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office stated that both bodies had been recovered. It was confirmed that the deceased were men. The search continued for one more missing employee, believed to still be trapped under the debris.

With this, the number of fatalities from the large-scale combined Russian attack between 03:00 and 05:00 on June 7 has risen to eight, including three individuals who were killed in residential buildings.

Kharkiv experienced one of the most intense Russian assaults in recent months on the night of June 6 to 7, with nearly 60 explosions recorded. The Kyivskyi and Osnovianskyi districts were targeted. Civilian infrastructure was hit, including a manufacturing facility, an apartment block, and a private housing area.

Authorities had earlier indicated that six workers were believed to be trapped in the basement of the damaged plant. The facility was struck by drones, guided aerial bombs, and missiles. The SES described the building as being in a highly unstable condition, with unpredictable collapses and structural failures complicating rescue operations.

By the evening of June 11, rescuers had recovered the bodies of three female victims, aged 46, 48, and 50.
