
One killed, one wounded in Russian airstrike on village in Zaporizhzhia region

A Russian airstrike on a village in the Polohy district, Zaporizhzhia region, has left one person dead and another wounded.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported the attack on Telegram, as cited by Ukrinform.
“As a result of the Russian strike on the Polohy district, one person was killed and another wounded,” Fedorov stated.
Medics are providing the injured with all necessary assistance.
Earlier, Ukrinform reported that on the morning of May 29, Russian forces attacked the village of Verkhnia Tersa in the Polohy district using glide bombs, dropping at least five bombs on a private residence. The strike caused significant destruction, with many residential buildings damaged or destroyed.
