Nighttime Russian attack on Odesa kills seven, wounds 11
According to Ukrinform, Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
“Last night, the city endured several waves of attacks involving missiles and strike drones. Unfortunately, six people have been killed. My deepest condolences go out to their families and loved ones. Another 11 people were injured and are receiving all necessary medical care,” the statement reads.
According to Lysak, infrastructure facilities and a residential building in the Khadzhibey district were damaged, and the blast wave shattered more than 300 windows in several buildings.
In addition, damage was reported in one of the parks in the Primorsky district.
Later, Lysak reported that the death toll had risen to 7.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops attacked Odesa on the night of April 16; five casualties had previously been reported.
