The Prime Minister announced this in Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“We held the first meeting with the US Chargé d'Affaires in Ukraine Julia Davis. I congratulated her on her appointment... In continuation of the agreements with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, we coordinated our joint steps to introduce a free trade zone between Ukraine and the United States. This will be a significant achievement on the way to the prosperity of our countries and peoples,” he wrote.

Shmyhal also emphasized the important role of American businesses operating in Ukraine, which have saved jobs and paid taxes.

“We are interested in more U.S. companies investing in our country and participating in the reconstruction. And the agreement on the establishment of the Investment Fund for the Restoration of Ukraine will give this the necessary impetus,” he emphasized.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Ukraine appreciates the participation of the United States in the Ministerial Roundtable of the World Bank and the IMF and the contribution of the American state to the financial support of the Ukrainian state. He also expressed his gratitude to all Americans, President Donald Trump, the Congress and the US Administration for the assistance provided to combat Russian aggression.
