Russia's war casualty toll in Ukraine climbs by 1,390 in past day

Russia suffered approximately 922,340 casualties in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and April 5, 2025, with 1,390 soldiers killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Due to the continuous influx of updated intelligence, there was a need to adjust certain figures in Russia's overall losses -- UAVs and cruise missiles. The General Staff noted that the total figures have been revised, while daily losses continue to be reported as usual.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine's defense forces have destroyed 10,541 (+13) Russian tanks, 21,952 (+20) armored fighting vehicles, 25,730 (+67) artillery systems, 1,350 (+1) multiple rocket launchers, 1,124 (+1) anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 3,130 cruise missiles. The Russian army has also lost 370 warplanes, 335 helicopters, 31,778 (+105) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 28 warships/cutters, 1 submarine, 42,954 (+113) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 3,788 (+1) pieces of special equipment.

Figures on enemy losses are being updated.
