Russian forces launch 511 strikes on Zaporizhzhia region in past day

Russian forces carried out 511 strikes on 13 settlements in Ukraine's southeastern Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours.

According to Ukrinform, Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration head Ivan Fedorov announced this via Telegram.

"The enemy launched eight airstrikes on Shchaslyve, Piatykhatky, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Novodarivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Novoandriivka. Some 317 drones of various types targeted Zaporizhzhia, Kamianske, Prymorske, Piatykhatky, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Novodarivka, and Preobrazhenka. Additionally, four MLRS (multiple launch rocket system) attacks hit Kamianske, Mala Tokmachka, and Shcherbaky. Another 182 artillery strikes were recorded in Piatykhatky, Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka," Fedorov wrote.

Authorities received 18 reports of damaged apartments, private homes, and vehicles. No civilian casualties were reported.

Earlier reports indicated that a Russian strike damaged an energy infrastructure facility in the Zaporizhzhia district.
