Denmark is ready to join deployment of peacekeepers in Ukraine

It is noted that the statement by the Danish Foreign Minister came after he received a key parliamentary approval to participate in the European peacekeeping force in Ukraine.
In a speech after a meeting with the Foreign Affairs Committee, Rasmussen said that it was important for Europe to “send the right signals to both Putin and Washington.”
The article says that no decision on the deployment of peacekeeping forces has been agreed upon, and it was rather an agreement in principle in case and when appropriate circumstances arise under the ceasefire agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
It is also noted that the Danish Defense Commander, General Michael Wiggers Hyldgaard, will take part in tomorrow's meeting of European Chiefs of Staff, which is being convened by French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris.
