
Missile strike on Kryvyi Rih: Death toll rises to three, 31 injured
Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
"Three people – [two] men and a woman -- lost their lives in Kryvyi Rih due to the overnight missile attack. My deepest condolences to their families," Lysak wrote.
He stated that among the 31 injured, one is a child. Most of the wounded have been hospitalized, with 14 in critical condition.
The attack affected a hotel, 14 apartment buildings, a post office, nearly 20 vehicles, a cultural institution, and 12 stores. Rescue teams continue to clear the debris.
Lysak also reported that early on March 6, Russian forces shelled the Marhanets community in the Nikopol district with artillery and kamikaze drones. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Overnight, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down six Russian drones over the Dnipropetrovsk region.
On March 5, Russian forces launched a missile strike on civilian infrastructure in Kryvyi Rih.
