Russian drones attack Cherkasy, killing 8-year-old boy, injuring 12 people

In the evening, the Russian army attacked the Cherkasy region with strike drones. In the regional center, an eight-year-old boy was killed as a result of the enemy strike, and 12 others were injured.
The head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
Nine of the injured, including a child, were taken to the hospital. Three others received medical assistance on the spot.
As a result of falling enemy UAVs, at least four multi-story residential buildings were damaged. The inspection of the area is ongoing. Air defense forces destroyed nine enemy targets in the sky over the region.
As Ukrinform reported, on the morning of April 14, Russian invaders struck an administrative building in central Chernihiv with a Shahed-type drone, injuring two people.
