Russian drone crash sparks fire at furniture factory in Cherkasy

A fire broke out on the territory of a furniture factory in Cherkasy as a result of a downed Russian UAV.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, reported this in a Telegram message.

According to him, on the night of March 3, air defense forces were working in Cherkasy region. A total of 5 Russian drones were destroyed. No one was injured.

In Cherkasy, a fire broke out on the territory of a furniture factory as a result of an enemy target falling. It has been extinguished. The windows and roofs of two buildings and a truck were also damaged. In several neighboring businesses, the blast wave smashed windows and damaged vehicles.

The survey of the area is ongoing, Taburets said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Defense Forces shot down 46 drones that Russians had been using to attack Ukraine since the evening of March 2. Another 31 UAVs were lost in the area.
