Three civilians killed in Russian attacks on Donetsk region

Russian forces killed three residents of the Donetsk region on February 27.

Vadym Filashkin, head of the region's military administration, announced this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

He said the victims were from Kostiantynivka, Pokrovsk, and Torske. Seven others were injured.

Filashkin emphasized that the total number of casualties in the Donetsk region -- 2,995 killed and 6,793 injured -- does not include figures from Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported that Russian forces struck Kostiantynivka with Smerch rockets and artillery, killing one person and injuring four others.
