Enemy launches 455 strikes on Zaporizhzhia region in past day

Russian forces launched 455 attacks on 13 settlements in Ukraine's southeastern Zaporizhzhia region on February 22, leaving one woman injured.

Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

In particular, 20 enemy airstrikes targeted Stepnohirske, Lukianivske, Huliaipole, Varvarivka, and Zelene. Additionally, 265 drones of various types struck Zaporizhzhia, Kushuhum, Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka. Three MLRS strikes hit Novodanylivka, Huliaipole, and Novodarivka. As many as 167 artillery attacks were recorded in Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka.

Fedorov said that the Zaporizhzhia attack had injured a woman. In total, 27 reports of damaged apartments, private houses, and vehicles were received.

Earlier reports indicated that Russian strike drones targeted Zaporizhzhia, causing injuries, fires in residential areas, and shattered windows in apartment buildings.
