Arson suspect recruited by Russia detained in Lutsk
According to Ukrinform, the SSU office in the Volyn region reported this on Facebook.
Case materials indicate that representatives of Russian intelligence services recruited a 20-year-old student from the Rivne region via the Telegram messenger.

It is noted that the handlers operated “under a false flag” – posing as SSU officers and instructing the suspect to allegedly “test the security system” of a judicial institution.
To carry out the “task,” the suspect threw a package containing a flammable mixture onto the steps of the Commercial Court of the Volyn Region at night. Law enforcement officers detained him within 24 hours after committing the crime.
Based on the evidence collected, he has been formally notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional destruction or damage of property). A pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
Earlier, Ukrinform reported that in central Lutsk a girl opened fire, with one of the bullets hitting a trolleybus.
