Drones and electronic warfare systems sent to Ukrainian defenders at front from Kyiv community
Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
According to Klychko, he handed over the equipment to four brigades in the Kharkiv and Donetsk directions.
“I delivered 50 Mavic drones from the community of Kyiv to the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade. The 5th Kyiv Assault Brigade received a total of 250 UAVs (both Mavic and FPV-10), as well as several electronic warfare systems. 75 Mavic “birds” will now help the fighters of the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade,” Klychko said.
According to him, the 28th Brigade also received 50 FPV-10s and an electronic warfare system purchased outside the budget as charity. In addition, 50 of these drones and electronic warfare systems were given to the Svoboda battalion of the 4th Operational Brigade of the National Guard.
Klychko assured that Kyiv would continue to help the defenders.
As Ukrinform reported, on July 7, the Kyiv community handed over a thousand FPV drones to the soldiers of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Army. They were purchased with money allocated to the military from the Kyiv budget.
