Defense contracts and military aid inflows: Zelensky holds meeting

"Immediately after returning to Ukraine, I held a meeting with the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. I listened to reports from Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Chief of the Army Oleksandr Syrskyi, and Chief of the General Staff Anatolii Barhylevych: the operational situation in all directions and at the borders, the dynamics of the implementation of domestic contracts and the receipt of assistance from the defense packages announced by partners," Zelensky said.

The President listened to reports from the heads of all components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine: The Armed Forces, the National Guard, the Security Service, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service, as well as the intelligence reports.

Vadym Sukharevskyi, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, presented a detailed report. He reported on all types of drones - air, land, and sea - and all types of tasks: tactical FPV, evacuation platforms, and the so-called Deep Strike drones.

"This area is actively developing - the number of drones produced and successfully deployed is growing. Ukraine is leading the technological progress in this area. Last week, during talks with other leaders, we felt a great interest in our experience. After the victory, it will become a high-tech part of Ukrainian exports," Zelensky emphasized.

As reported, the Peace Summit, held in the Swiss resort of Burgenstock on June 15-16, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky, shows that international support for Ukraine is not weakening.
