Due to stormy weather in the Black Sea, there are no Russian missile carriers on combat duty, but the enemy could also launch missiles from Crimea bases, therefore the missile threat remains quite high.

That’s according to Natalia Humeniuk, chief press officer for Operational Command South, who spoke on the air of the national telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"At the moment, the weather is on our side, the sea is storming massively, and no missile carriers have been spotted out in the Black Sea on combat duty. But we remember that the enemy can use missile carriers even from the bay, where they are sheltering from the storm... In fact, they can keep up to five missile carriers combat ready and fully loaded," she said.

According to Humeniuk, no such activity was recorded today, but "the General Staff assesses the level of missile threat as high all the time, as long as the enemy operates missile carriers in the Black Sea."

As Ukrinform reported earlier, as of the morning of November 5, Russia has not deployed a single missile carrier on combat duty off the coast of temporarily occupied Crimea.
