Russian artillery strikes bring damage to Nikopol

Nikopol came under Russian artillery fire two times – on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.
That’s according to Serhii Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, who reported the news on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.
"Nikopol was under attack, again. A dozen shells were fired at the city. The enemy hit twice – in the evening and early in the morning. They employed heavy artillery," the report says.
The damage from the latest shelling is currently being assessed.
No casualties were reported in the area.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Nikopol region came under artillery fire twice in the past day. More than 10 rounds hit the district center and the Marhanets community. A household, an outhouse, and some dry grass caught fire.
