Russian forces exert pressure on Hryshyne and northern parts of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad – military

Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of responsibility of the Operation Task Force "East"  continue to hold back the enemy and inflict significant losses.

Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian troops have repelled 26 Russian assaults.

The military emphasized that the situation in the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration remains difficult. The Russian army is deploying additional reserves, increasing the number of airstrikes, and intensifying the use of other firepower.

"The enemy is exerting constant pressure, particularly on Hryshyne, the northern part of Pokrovsk, and the northern part of Myrnohrad, while continuing attempts to encircle our units. They are utilizing small-unit infiltration tactics, supported by occasional armored sorties," the military said.

Overall, in the Pokrovsk direction since the start of the day, Russian forces have attempted 13 times to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near the settlements of Toretske, Nove Shakhove, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Molodetske, and toward Novopidhrodne. One clash is ongoing.

According to the military, the Defense Forces are countering the enemy's intentions and repelling assaults. Enhanced aerial reconnaissance is being conducted, additional mining of likely advance routes is underway, and enemy logistics are being blocked. Search-and-strike operations are systematically carried out by Defense Forces units.

Drone units and artillery of the Defense Forces are actively operating. Russian troops are sustaining significant losses, the military reported.

Over the past month, unmanned systems units in the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration area eliminated and wounded 1,246 Russian troops, destroyed or damaged 128 pieces of armored vehicles and artillery systems, 178 trucks and cars, 65 ATVs and motorcycles, and 635 Russian shelters.

As Ukrinform previously reported, since the beginning of the day the Russian army has carried out 51 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders, with the heaviest fighting on the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole directions.
