War update: 35 combat clashes reported along Ukrainian front lines
That’s according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has launched five missile attacks and 60 airstrikes, as well as 68 attacks involving multiple rocket launchers, on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, civilian casualties were reported. Residential buildings and other civil infrastructure were destroyed.
The likelihood of Russia launching more missile attacks and airstrikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
During the past day, 35 combat clashes took place.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes, the operational situation has not changed significantly.
On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Kostobobrove, Chernihiv region, and Udy and Zybyne, Kharkiv region. Mortar and artillery strikes targeted over 25 settlements, including Semenivka, Chernihiv region; Metodivka, Volfyne, Obody, Kostyantynivka, Khotyn, and Riasne, Sumy region; and Mala Vovcha, Nesterne, Odradne, Stroivka, and Krasne Pershe, Kharkiv region.
On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy conducted airstrikes targeting the districts of Pershotravneve, Kislivka, and Kupiansk, Kharkiv region. The settlements of Kurylivka, Kislivka, Kotlyarivka, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne, and Pishchane, Kharkiv region, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar attacks.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Novoyehorivka and Bilohorivka, Luhansk region. Their airstrikes targeted the areas of Nadiia, Tverdokhlibove, Novoyehorivka, and Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Spirne, Donetsk region. More than 20 settlements, in particular, Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Berestove, Rozdolivka, Fedorivka, and Hryhorivka, Donetsk region, were hit by enemy artillery.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the Bohdanivka, Kurdiumivka, and Ozaryanivka areas, Donetsk region. Russian airstrikes targeted the areas of Klishchiivka, Druzhba, and Pivdenne, Donetsk region. More than 25 settlements, including Dibrova, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Zaliznianske, Stupochki, and Andriivka, Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery fire.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy carried out an airstrike in the Avdiivka district, and fired artillery and mortars at Keramik, Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiivka, Nevelske, and Karlivka, Donetsk region.
In the Marinka direction, Ukraine’s defense forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the Marinka and Novomykhailivka areas, Donetsk region. The enemy launched airstrikes at the areas of Krasnohorivka and Marinka, Donetsk region. The settlements of Marinka, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka, Hostre, Dachne, and Oleksandropil, Donetsk region, were hit by enemy artillery.
In the Shakhtarske direction, the enemy launched airstrikes in the area of Staromaiorske, Donetsk region. The settlements as Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka, Blahodatne, and Urozhaine, Donetsk region, came under enemy artillery fire.
In the direction of Zaporizhzhia, the Russians carried out airstrikes in the Zaliznychne and Verbove areas, Zaporizhzhia region. More than 20 settlements, including Malynivka, Zaliznianske, Huliaipilske, Charivne, Bilohirya, and Stepnohirsk, Zaporizhzhia region, were affected by enemy artillery fire.
In the Kherson direction, more than 10 settlements came under Russian artillery fire, including Zolota Balka, Mykilske, Sadove, Kherson, Sofiivka, and Shyroka Balka, Kherson region.
Over the past day, Ukraine’s Air Force has hit Russian manpower clusters eight times and four times attacked anti-aircraft missile systems.
Over the past 24 hours, missile and artillery units hit a Russian manpower and equipment cluster and a TOS-1A Solntsepiok heavy flamethrower.
