
At night, Russian troops shell border communities in Sumy region eight times
The Sumy Regional Military Command reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"At night and in the morning, the Russians fired eight times at the border areas and settlements of the Sumy region. 24 explosions were recorded. The Esman, Druzhbivka, and Velyka Pysarivka communities were shelled," the statement said.
As noted, the enemy fired mortars at the Druzhbivka community (17 explosions).
The Velyka Pysarivska community was shelled with artillery (six explosions).
The Russians dropped one mine in the Esman community.
No casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure was reported.
As reported, yesterday Russians fired 12 times at the border areas and settlements of the Sumy region. 86 explosions were recorded.
The Khotyn, Bilopil, Krasnopil, Esman, and Velyka Pysarivka communities were shelled.
