No Russian missile carriers in Black Sea now - Humeniuk

So far, there are no Russian missile carriers on combat duty in the Black Sea.

Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the Joint Press Center of the Operational Command South, said this on the air of the 'United News' telethon, according to Ukrinform.

"There are no missile carriers on duty at the moment. But we know the enemy, they may appear closer to midnight. They often increase their presence at night to use them during missile attacks, which they prefer at night," said Humeniuk.

According to her, the overall ship grouping is quite powerful - 11 units in the Black Sea and one in the Sea of Azov. They continue to monitor the surface situation. And conducting thorough reconnaissance, the presence of unmanned aerial vehicles is increasingly observed.

As reported, on August 15, Russia kept seven warships on alert in the Black Sea, and there were no missile carriers among them.
