
Six wounded in 61 Russian attacks on Kherson region on Aug 15

The Russian army launched 61 shelling attacks on Ukraine's southern Kherson region on Tuesday, August 15.
Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
"In the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 61 attacks, firing 358 shells from mortars, artillery, tanks, Grads, UAVs and aircraft. The enemy fired 13 shells at Kherson city," Prokudin said.
According to him, the Russian military targeted residential areas in the region and the building of a "point of invincibility" in the Beryslav district.
He added that six people had been wounded due to Russian aggression.
On August 15, the enemy shelled the village of Novodmytrivka in the Kherson region, wounding a 71-year-old man.
