The Armed Forces of Ukraine denied information that Russian troops had allegedly captured the village of Riasne in the Sumy region.

According to Ukrinform, the 14th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

"Riasne in the Sumy region is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Despite statements by Russian propaganda about the 'capture' of the border settlement, units of the 119th Territorial Defense Brigade and the Defense Forces are firmly holding the settlement," the statement said.

According to the command of the 14th Army Corps, the enemy suffered defeat on the approaches, and "the remnants of the occupiers' assault groups are being systematically destroyed by our FPV drones."
