Thirty-three occupiers eliminated in southern Ukraine in past day – Humeniuk

The relevant statement was made by Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces Natalia Humeniuk during a nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The situation is remaining tense. The enemy is intensifying shelling, and we have seen this in Kherson. Having focused on the regional center, they continue attacking other coastal settlements,” Humeniuk told.

In her words, intensified attacks indicate that the occupiers manage to bring up certain resources. Thus, the Ukrainian side continues to destroy them.

In particular, over the past day, Russian troops have lost two ammunition depots. Additionally, 33 occupiers were eliminated and 22 military equipment units were destroyed, including four Lancet loitering munitions, five heavy caliber guns, 11 armored vehicles, and a boat used by an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group.

According to Humeniuk, Russian soldiers feel demoralized and try to maneuver on the left bank, seeking for places that Ukrainian artillery would not be able to reach. At the same time, they make attempts to hold the positions that have not been set up.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces continue putting pressure and pushing the enemy back. Russian invaders are embittered and open fire against civilians.
