One killed, one injured as Russians fire four missiles at Avdiivka

Vitalii Barabash, head of the city military administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

He said that at 10:32, the Russian military fired four missiles at Avdiivka, with two of them hitting Avdiivka and Coke Chemical Plant and two others striking the old part of the city.

"Today, in addition to the woman who was injured this morning, a man born in 1954 was killed by shelling in his own yard on Chystiakova Street," Barabash said.

According to him, more than 1,700 people remain in Avdiivka. He called on locals to leave the city and help those who remain there to do so.

"Our contacts are unchanged. There's everything needed for a safe evacuation. We will help you adjust to a new place and support you with humanitarian aid. The main thing is to find a desire to switch from the 'stress and danger' mode to the 'life goes on' mode," he said.
