
Zelensky awards 621 servicemen, 457 of them posthumously

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has awarded 621 servicemen with state awards, including 457 posthumously.
The relevant decrees No. 432/2023, 433/2023, 434/2023 of July 18 were published on the President's website, according to Ukrinform.
The awards were presented for personal courage in the defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, selfless performance of military duty.
Zelensky awarded the defenders with the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, Danylo Halytsky, and For Courage, as well as medals For Military Service to Ukraine, Defender of the Fatherland, and For Saved Life.
As reported, Zelensky responded to a petition and by a decree of July 8, awarded the status of Hero of Ukraine posthumously to Ivan Shchogolev, the founder of the 92nd Brigade's "Sirko's Rascals" reconnaissance group.
