Russia keeps off Crimea coast missile carrier with eight Kalibrs on board
That’s according to Natalia Humeniuk, head of the joint press center of Operational Command South, who spoke at the national telethon, reports Ukrinform.
"As of now, a surface missile carrier has been deployed in the Black Sea, which is headed in the direction of the launch zone," she informed.
Humeniuk added that the frigate in question is believed to be carrying eight Kalibr missiles, “therefore, the missile threat level has been raised to ‘high.’”
The spokeswoman urged residents to monitor official information channels and air raid alerts. Enemy is likely to strike, employing various types of weapons.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, overnight Wednesday, June 21, the Russians launched six Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 one-way attack drones from the northern direction. All six drones were intercepted, the Air Force reports.
