Russia doesn't deploy single missile carrier to Black Sea due to storm
Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the Joint Press Center of the Operational Command South, said this on the air of the nationwide telethon "United News," Ukrinform reports.
"Due to the deteriorating weather, the enemy's missile carriers have been brought back to their basing points, but the storm at sea is not so critical as to prevent the missile carriers from returning to duty. Therefore, it is likely that the maneuvers will continue, and we are monitoring the situation. Currently, there are five warships in the Black Sea, but there are no missile carriers among them," said Humeniuk.
She noted that the enemy is constantly trying to strain the Defense Forces in all directions. This is demonstrated, in particular, on the Black Sea direction. "There is a rotation of missile carriers and approaches to the launch borders, strategic aviation and kamikaze drones are used throughout the day. This tactic is already clear, we are ready for such waves of attacks using various methods of destruction to deplete the Defense Forces," said Humeniuk.
As Ukrinform reported, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian troops struck again at night, using 14 X-101/555 cruise missiles and four Shahed drones. Air defense destroyed 11 cruise missiles and an attack drone.
