
Russians shell Sumy region with mortars, launch Shaheds, destroy school
This was reported on Тelegram of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.
"At night and in the morning, the enemy fired seven times at the border of Sumy region. 19 explosions were recorded. Myropil, Mykolaivka, Bilopillya, Seredyna-Buda and Novosloboda communities were shelled," the statement said.
Russians used mortars to hit Bilopillya, Novosloboda and Seredina-Buda communities, with six, five and four explosions recorded in these communities, respectively.
"Myropillia community: Russians hit the community's territory with Shaheds. One Shahed UAV hit a school building (a fire broke out in the annex to the two-story school building), another hit a grocery store, and the third hit a non-residential building on the territory of the community," the RMA reported.
In the Mykolaivka village community, a UAV hit the hangar and granary of an agricultural company. Several pieces of tractor equipment were damaged.
On Wednesday, Russians fired 17 times at the border during the day. 153 explosions were recorded. Bilopillya, Yunakivka, Miropil, Khotyn, Shalyhyne, Seredyna-Buda, Esman, Znob-Novgorod, and Velyka Pysarivka communities were shelled.
