Two explosions occur in Mariupol near Azovstal plant

In Mariupol, temporarily occupied by the Russian army, two explosions occurred in the area of the Azovstal steel plant.

An advisor to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andriushchenko said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"There were two explosions in Mariupol near Azovstal. There is smoke on the territory of the plant. We are recording the work of air defense. The cause and consequences will be revealed later," Andriushchenko wrote.

As reported, after the explosions in Mariupol became more frequent, the Russian invaders intensified the construction of their fortifications around the city.

The invaders are turning Mariupol and the surrounding villages into a military and logistics hub for the Russian army.
