The occupation forces are mining the territory and building new fortifications in and around the captured Enerhodar.

Dmytro Orlov, mayor of Enerhodar, said this on Channel 5, Ukrinform reports.

"The occupiers are mining the area around the city of Enerhodar. If until now only the perimeter of the nuclear power plant and the coast of the Kakhovka reservoir were mined, now we see mines and fortifications in the city," he said.

He also added that the occupiers are trying to conduct mass passportization in Enerhodar. According to him, people with acute symptoms are not even allowed to enter hospitals without passports or other documents that would confirm their affiliation with the Russian Federation. In addition, it is impossible to go to the city without having any documents with you.

Earlier it was reported that the staffing situation at ZNPP is difficult, there is a shortage of employees. Currently, the plant is not generating electricity, but it is connected to the Ukrainian power grid.
