Enemy trying to advance on five axes: Ukraine repels 47 attacks

As Russia’s invasion forces are focusing their main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Maryinka directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled 47 enemy attacks in the said areas.

That’s according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.

The evening update on frontline developments says Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Maryinka remain at the epicenter of hostilities.

It is reported that Ukraine’s Air Force delivered six strikes on enemy positions over the past day, hitting a Russian manpower and equipment cluster.

Rocket and artillery forces struck two Russian clusters and two ammunition depots.

Throughout the day, Russian troops have launched three air strikes, a missile strike, as well as five attacks involving MLR systems, targeting Ukraine’s defense positions and civilian infrastructure.

The General Staff warns that the likelihood of missile and air strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains high as the enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, employing terror tactics against the civilian population.

In the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the operational situation has undergone no significant changes as no signs of Russian offensive groups being formed were detected.

Under enemy fire came Hirsk of Chernihiv region; Novovasylivka, Nova Huta, Stukalyvka, Iskryskivshchyna, and Volfine of Sumy region; as well as Hraniv, Kozacha Lopan, Vovchansk, Zybyne, and Budarky of Kharkiv region.

The invaders went for unsuccessful offensive attempts in the area of Stelmakhivka, Kuzmyne, and Berestovo in the Kupiansk and Lyman directions.

Dvorichanske, Zapadne, Dvorichna, Kupiansk, and Krokhmalne of Kharkiv region; Novoselivske, Nevske and Bilohorivka of Luhansk region; as well as Kolodyazi, Torske, Siversk, and Spirne of Donetsk region were hit by enemy artillery.

Also, Russian troops pursue their assault attempts toward Bakhmut.

"Our defenders are bravely holding the city, repelling numerous enemy attacks," General Staff said.

The Russian army ran unsuccessful offensive operations in the Orikhovo-Vasylivka district of Donetsk region, also striking Minskivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Druzhkivka, and Bakhmut in the same region.

On the Avdiivka and Maryinka axes, the Russians carried out offensive action in the districts of Novobakhmutivka, Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiivka, Severne, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, and Marynka of Donetsk region – with no success.

Novokalynove, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Heorhiivka, Kurakhove, and Novomykhailivka of Donetsk region came under enemy shelling.

On the Shakhtarske axis, Russian troops struck Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolotya Nyva, Shakhtarske, and Velyka Novosilka of Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhia and Kherson axes, the invaders shelled Vremivka and Novopil of Donetsk region, Malynivka, Hulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Hulyaipil, and Mali Shcherbaky of Zaporizhia region; Manhanets and Nikopol of Dnipropetrovsk region, Zolota Balka, Havrylivka, Beryslav, Vesele, Burhunka, Antonivka, and Berehove of Kherson region, and also Ochakiv in Mykolaiv region.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, in the full-scale war waged against Ukraine, Russia’s death toll stands at nearly 172,900. The enemy also lost 3,610 tanks, 6,974 armored fighting vehicles, 2,671 artillery systems, 2,239 drones, and hundreds of units of other equipment.
