200 hits in three days: police show consequences of enemy shelling in Zaporizhzhia region

Over the past three days, Russian troops conducted 207 attacks in Zaporizhzhia region.

This is reported on the website of the National Police in Zaporizhzhia region.

"For three days, the Russian military was conducting targeted fire at the settlements of Polohy and Vasylivka districts. Russian shells hit residential buildings. Fires broke out in some of them. (...) As a result of the armed attack, three civilians were fatally wounded. Two more were hospitalized," the statement said.

According to the police, the Russians fired various types of weapons. The civilian and residential infrastructure of the two districts and the regional center was damaged.

Law enforcers recorded one missile hitting a catering facility. The building and territory of the restaurant were destroyed. The blast wave shattered windows in the surrounding buildings and damaged roofs and facades.

Other missiles hit an industrial facility. A production shop was destroyed. In one of the districts, police found and neutralized fragments of an S-300 missile.

As a result of the war crimes, police investigators and the Security Service of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia region opened a criminal case under Article 438 (Violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As Ukrinform reported, in the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces destroyed three enemy infantry fighting vehicles and damaged a tank.
