Enemy hits Sumy region 94 times with tube artillery, mortars

During the day, four border communities of Sumy region were struck from the territory of Russia.

"During the day, the enemy launched 94 strikes on Shalyhine, Krasnopillia, Bilopillia, and Yunakivka communities," Dmytro Zhyvytskyy, Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, posted on Facebook.

The Russians shelled Shalyhine community with mortars (10 strikes) and tube artillery (27 explosions).

The enemy hit Krasnopillia community with tube artillery (12 strikes) and MLRS (23 strikes). In addition, the Russians dropped two explosives from a drone on the territory of the community.

Bilopillia community was struck with mortars from Russian territory (12 strikes).

"The enemy also opened mortar fire (8 explosions) on Yunakivka community," Zhyvytskyy added.

Nobody was injured.

As reported, the Russian army struck the border communities of Sumy region 144 times over the past day.
