Russian soldiers killed men, raped women while fleeing from Lyman – intercept

The Security Service of Ukraine intercepted a phone call of a Russian soldier, which confirms that the invaders killed civilians and raped women while retreating from Lyman in Donetsk region.
In the intercepted conversation, the Russian admits that their troops “massacred everyone there” when leaving the town.
"We raped, massacred, shot them dead there. In Lyman, in Torske, we were just going and gunning them down. All young men were taken away," he said.
According to the invader, they raped, slaughtered, and shot all the young women.
The Security Service of Ukraine emphasized that the words said by the Russian military officer were documented. Investigators are working to ensure that the invaders receive the biggest possible punishment for each of their crimes.
As noted, the Security Service of Ukraine has already opened more than 21,000 inquiries into the violations of the laws and customs of war by the Russian army.
