Russians forces shell Kherson, two civilians killed

That's according to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, Ukrinform reports.

"According to the investigation, in the morning of December 23, two local residents of the city of Kherson were killed in another shelling by Russian military personnel. Residential buildings and critical infrastructure were damaged," the report said.

According to preliminary data, the invaders attacked the city with multiple rocket launchers.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder.

The shelling of the city does not abate, the regional prosecutor's office added.

At the same time, the deputy head of the presidential office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, reported on Telegram about the shelling of the Korabelnyi district in Kherson, in which at least one person was killed. "The man sustained fatal mine blast injuries," the official said.

According to him, emergency services are working at the scene of shelling.
