Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has thanked Norway for allocating NOK 1 billion to repair damaged infrastructure in Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, Zelensky said this on Twitter.

"We are grateful to our Norwegian partners for providing NOK 1 billion – that's $100 million – for the restoration of our infrastructure after the Russian strikes, primarily the power supply system," Zelensky wrote.

He said he was sure that with such friends Ukraine would return power to every home.

The Government of Norway in December signed an agreement with the World Bank to provide NOK 1 billion for the restoration of infrastructure damaged by Russian missile strikes in Ukraine.
