Enemy attempting to advance in three directions – Ukraine’s General Staff

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian soldiers have repelled the attacks of the Russian invaders outside the settlements of Bilohorivka, Kurdiumivka, Novokalynove, Vesele, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Vodiane, Novomykhailivka and Vremivka in the Donetsk region.

In addition, in the past 24 hours, Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine’s military and civilian infrastructure. Residential buildings and critical infrastructure were hit in the Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Poltava, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi regions and other parts of the country.

"The enemy launched more than 90 Kh-101 and Kalibr missiles and more than ten attack UAVs. According to detailed information, 77 cruise missiles, ten Iranian-made Shahed-136 attack drones and one Orion UAV were destroyed by units of the Defense Forces," the General Staff said.

In addition, according to the agency, the enemy continues to shell the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements along the contact line. In the past 24 hours, the invaders carried out 43 airstrikes and launched more than 40 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.

"Due to significant losses in the course of hostilities, in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, cases of desertion in units of the occupying forces have increased and the morale and psychological state has significantly deteriorated. After the battles in the area of the settlement of Maiorsk, the 1st Horlivka territorial battalion lost its combat capability. Losses there amounted to over 50 percent killed and wounded. The morale and psychological condition of servicemen is unsatisfactory. The enemy command disbanded the said unit. The remaining personnel were distributed among other military units," the General Staff added.

The report also said that the aircraft of the Defense Forces of Ukraine on November 15 struck the enemy 14 times, including 11 areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as three positions of the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems.

In turn, soldiers of the Ukrainian rocket forces and artillery over the past day struck three areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, an electronic warfare system and an ammunition warehouse of the occupiers.
