On October 20, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a pantoon crossing built by Russian invaders close to the Antonivka Bridge in Kherson region, but there were no civilians there at that moment.

Yuriy Sobolevskyi, the first deputy head of the Kherson Regional Council, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"At around 23:00, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the pantoon crossing built by the occupiers close to the Antonivka Bridge in Kherson. According to available information, there were no civilian residents of the city in the convoy moving along the crossing," Sobolevskyi wrote.

He clarified that, first, during the curfew, civilians should stay at home. Secondly, during the curfew, only those with a special permit can move around the city, and “it is clear that these are the privileges of collaborators”. Thirdly, there are real confirmed data from the locals that during the so-called "evacuation" of civilians, representatives of the Russian-installed security forces are transferred to the opposite bank. They differ not only in appearance, but also in clothes they wear.

"So, talks about shelling civilians are more like another fake. Currently, all data are being investigated," added the deputy head of the regional council.

According to media reports, another attack was launched on the Antonivka Bridge and the crossing built by Russian invaders close to the bridge on October 20 at around 23:00. Six explosions rang out.
