Russians strike Zaporizhzhia region 967 times over past day, leaving one killed, 25 injured

During the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 967 attacks on 51 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. One person was killed and 25 others were injured as a result of enemy attacks on Zaporizhzhia city and the surrounding district.

Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

According to Fedorov, Russian troops carried out 25 airstrikes on the settlements of Zarichne, Liubytske, Hryhorivka, Rizdvianka, Yurkivka, Yasna Poliana, Lisne, Trudove, Zelena Dibrova, Chervona Krynytsia, Dolynka, Vozdvyzhivka, Preobrazhenka, Novoselivka, Vilnianka, Mykilske, Chervonyi Yar, Shyroke, Verkhnia Tersa, and Omelnyk.

A total of 690 drones of various types, primarily FPV drones, attacked Zaporizhzhia, Kushuhum, Mala Katerynivka, Novomykolaivka, Bilenke, Novoyakovlivka, Richne, Rozumivka, Novotroitske, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukianivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Huliaipilske, Verkhnia Tersa, Staroukrainka, Sviatopetrivka, Olenokostiantynivka, Vozdvyzhivka, Dobropillia, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Rybne, and Pryluky.

There were five multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS) strikes targeting Charivne and Huliaipilske.

In addition, 247 artillery strikes hit Novoyakovlivka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukianivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Huliaipilske, Verkhnia Tersa, Staroukrainka, Sviatopetrivka, Olenokostiantynivka, Vozdvyzhivka, Dobropillia, and Rybne.

Authorities received 165 reports of damage to infrastructure facilities, residential buildings, and vehicles.

As Ukrinform previously reported, Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia earlier in the day, leaving part of the city without electricity.
