Ukrainian air defense forces shoot down enemy targets in Rivne, Zhytomyr regions

Vitaliy Koval, the head of the Rivne regional military administration, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"Friends, an enemy target was shot down in the north of the Rivne region during the latest air raid alert. I thank the air defense forces and Armed Forces of Ukraine for reliable protection!" he wrote.

Vitaliy Bunechko, the head of the Zhytomyr regional military administration, in turn, wrote on Telegram that an unmanned aerial vehicle had been shot down in the Zhytomyr region.

"More detailed information will be provided later, after the area is examined by specialists," Bunechko said.

An enemy target was also shot down in the Rivne district on October 11. On October 10, air defense forces destroyed two missiles in the Rivne district and a drone in the Varash district.
